Algae Photo Bioreactors (APB's)
Apbe Pty Ltd offers turn key service's including commercial R&D, generic
and innovative designs, project management and consulting, site investigations,
material procurement, construction management, laboratory services
and access to academic research.
Small Scale APB's
Applications within the domestic or light industry sector.
Examples of APB's to utilise household sewage, grey water recovery,
portable sets for small generators and river / groundwater remediation.
Capacity up to 100 litres.
Medium Sized APB's
The common tubular based design has been in operation within the Europe for
over ten years with performance data freely available.
Applications for treating brewery, food processing, wastewater treatment
and leachate recovery.
Capacity - 100-1000m3
Large Scale APB's
Several international pilot plants are currently in the commercialisation phase,
utilising unique designs and scaling-up for treating large volumes of
gaseous emissions such as from power generation, mineral processing and
geosequestration recovery. Innovative demonstration design and
'scaling up' services.
Capacity - above 1000m3
